HuangShan, China

HuangShan stands for Yellow Mountain in Chinese and it is famous for its cliffy peaks, odd-shaped rocks, clouds of sea, etc.  It's a dream comes true to visit an exotic place like this.

Ganaraska Trail - Devil's Lake Section

Ganaraska Trail - Devil's Lake Section in Ontario runs through the Queen Elizabeth II Wildlands Provincial Park in Ontario.  It  is very rugged and challenging and is recommended for experienced hikers only.  The hike requires crossing beaver dams, downed trees, creeks and swamp.  It's a very interesting hike but DO NOT go alone!

Niagara Falls State Park

The Niagara Falls State Park on the U.S. side has many nice walks and picnic areas along the rim of the falls.  the Canadian side may have the best panoramic view of the falls but the U.S side does offer a much closer and a very different perspective of the falls.

Beautiful Flower Stand

There pictures were taken this morning as we were enjoying the coffee in the Distillery District.  We were drawn in by the two beautiful ladies who were busy setting up the flower stand for their very vibrant lilies.

Detroit Zoo

Detroit Zoo is not as big as Toronto's but the zoo is very well maintained.  The Penguinarium, which was the first facility in North America designed specifically for penguins, is my personal favorite.
